The professional coverstitch machine impresses with its enormous penetration power and high stitch reliability - even for cross seams.
Have you ever taken a closer look at the hem of a T-shirt or sweatshirt? It usually consists of a twin seam visible at the top and a zigzag-like seam from below - called a coverstitch. However, compared to the twin seam and the zigzag stitch of a sewing machine, the coverstitch is much more stretchy and durable.
The baby lock cover stitch (BLCS) specializes in these stitches. With the simple and ingenious Jet-AirTM threading system, threading your threads is child's play. Its particular strength lies in its power and reliability - both with firm, stretchy fabrics or even cross seams.
Another highlight is the lowerable feed dog. When the presser foot is raised, it lowers automatically and optimizes the removal and insertion of fabrics. The adjustable differential feed (0.6 - 2.0 :1) enables perfect seam patterns.
Unique looper
Our cover stitch (BLCS) has a unique compact looper system equipped with tubes. This enables uncomplicated and quick threading. Extra Strong hooks are used to ensure that your baby lock cover stitch (BLCS) can withstand even the toughest demands.
JetAir system
The simply ingenious Jet-Air system makes threading your baby lock cover stitch child's play. From now on you determine the threading sequence of the threads. No more annoying tracking of colored threading points, no more confusion caused by free-hanging threads or having to start again because you made a mistake. Simply select the hook thread, insert it into the threading opening, press the lever and the thread is threaded automatically into the hook tip.
Manual thread tension
The thread tension on our baby lock machine is already preset. It has different colored thread tensions for the looper thread and the needle threads for individual adaptation to your sewing requirements.
Lowerable feed dog
When the presser foot is lifted, the feed dog automatically lowers, making it easier to remove and insert fabrics.
Differential feed
How often do you have problems with stretch fabrics that they pucker completely at the end of sewing or the seam is displaced? With the help of the differential feed, the cover stitch (BLCS) ensures optimum fabric feed with stretch fabrics and thus prevents seam puckering or protruding seams. If desired, you can achieve imaginative ruffle effects, stretch the sewing or create a desired wavy seam.
Practical accessory compartment
No more searching for your Victory accessories. In the practical accessory compartment under the spool holder on the right, all important utensils are stowed away and ready to hand. Among other things, you will find:

- Screwdriver for needle screws
- Brush with guide for inserting the needles
Adjustable stitch length
An easily accessible setting regulator allows you to vary the stitch length.
