Silhouette
Silhouette materials open up a wide range of possibilities for creative hobby tailors and crafters: from printable sticker paper with a glitter or holographic effect to metallic tattoo paper and self-adhesive stencil material. These products are ideal for adding individual details to clothing, accessories, labels and decorations.
What is the Silhouette range suitable for?
The range is suitable for personalized stickers, temporary tattoos, decorative accents on gift packaging and as stencils for fabric painting or textile paint. The combination of printing and cutting capability is particularly practical: print the motifs, cut them out with the cutting machine, weed them and process them further.
How to process?
- Printable sticker paper: First print with a suitable printer, then cut with the cutting machine. Transfer tape/transfer paper makes it easier to transfer the stickers to smooth surfaces.
- Metallic and tattoo paper: For temporary tattoos or metallic effects, motifs are printed or cut and applied according to the manufacturer's instructions. Test skin compatibility before use.
- Self-adhesive stencil material: Stick on, brush down the edge, apply paint and carefully remove - ideal for clean edges when painting fabrics or furniture.
What makes Silhouette materials special?
The variety of surfaces (glitter, holographic, Metallic, matt) enables visible accents without great effort. Many papers and foils are specially optimized for plotter work: precise cuts, easy weeding and clean gluing. For hobby sewers, template material and printable stickers are particularly useful for creating labels, markings or decorative elements directly with your own handwriting or logo.
A tip from your Stoffschwester: Always do a test run with small motifs and the desired machine settings before using them on large areas. This will help you find the right blade/knife setting, test prints will be successful and weeding will be easier. If you have any questions about processing or possible applications, we will be happy to advise you - have fun being creative!
