Amann-Mettler XTREME PRO - Color 0630 (Foliage Rose)

The high-performance sewing thread "XTREME PRO"  from Mettler meets the highest demands: Tear and abrasion resistance at premium level, UV and salt water resistant as well as water-repellent - completely without PFC. It remains reliable and dimensionally stable even at extreme temperatures (down to -30 °C). This makes it ideal for sewing, quilting, overlocking or embroidery in the outdoor, upholstery or technical textile sector.

Available in up to 20 colors and a spool length of 400 m (fineness Nm 35/3, dtex 285*3). Certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 - high standards for the environment and people.

XTREME PRO is the new high-performance sewing thread from Mettler - developed for extreme conditions in the outdoor, upholstery and technical sectors. The thread is made from 100% bonded polyester and offers exceptionally high tear and abrasion resistance. It is UV-resistant, seawater-resistant and PFC-free water-repellent. Even at temperatures as low as -30 °C , it remains reliable, resilient and dimensionally stable.

Thanks to its high-quality textile look, XTREME PRO can be used both functionally and aesthetically - ideal for outdoor projects, seat cushions, tarpaulins, bags, boat equipment, garden furniture and everything that requires high durability.

The dyes have been specially developed to ensure that the brilliant colors are retained even when exposed to intense sunlight and salty air. The durability was confirmed by weathering tests according to ISO 4892-1 and ISO 4892-2 as well as by cold tests at -30 °C.

XTREME PRO is ideally suited for sewing and overlocking - wherever maximum durability is required.

Tips & tricks for processing:

• Use a needle with a large eye (e.g. 100 denim or leather needles)
• Increase upper thread tension if necessary
• Select a stitch length of at least 3 mm
• Secure the beginning and end of the seam well
• Use a thread net for the bobbin so that the thread can run off better
• Do not use a threader or thread cutter!
