multifunctional stitch plate

A special highlight of the DX5 is the multifunctional stitch plate . With a small lever, it can be converted to a straight stitch plate . This is a great advantage, especially for fine fabrics , for very precise sewing and for free-motion quilting . The fabric is guided particularly cleanly and the start of sewing is more stable. According to Juki, this function can only be used in straight stitch mode.

Automatic needle threader

The automatic needle threader makes threading much easier. Simply press the lever and the thread is threaded into the needle. This saves time, is easy on the eyes and makes working with different thread colors much more pleasant.

box feed

The box feed is one of the great strengths of the DX5. In contrast to a classic oval feed, Juki moves the feed dog rectangularly so that it remains in contact with the fabric for longer.
