Vliesofix - iron-on adhesive medium - as a practical roll for at home.

Vliesofix® is an adhesive fabric on backing paper. The backing paper is both a drawing aid and an ironing aid. With Vliesofix®, fabrics and/or different materials can be joined together by simply ironing them on.

Vliesofix® is ideal for imaginative appliqués (see overleaf for more information) and textile handicrafts in all shapes and colors, for serviette techniques and for repairs. With Vliesofix® you can give free rein to your creativity.

Create your own individual design and PAINT the adhesive side of Vliesofix®. Then allow the paint to dry well. Place the adhesive side on the right side of the fabric and iron it on well from the paper side and leave to cool. Carefully remove the backing material. The painted side must be covered with baking paper for subsequent ironing processes.

Processing:
1. trace or draw the motif mirror-inverted onto the paper side of Vliesofix® and cut out roughly.
2. place Vliesofix® with the rough side on the wrong side of the fabric and iron on dry, 5 sec.
3. cut out the motif exactly and peel off the backing paper. Then place it on the chosen area of another fabric with the coated side facing down.
4 Cover with a damp cloth and iron in stages for 10 seconds.
5 Sew around the appliqué with a zig-zag stitch, if necessary place stabilizer underneath.
