Waterproof canvas
Our waterproof canvas is made of 100% cotton and with its 225 gsm it has just the right mix of strength and flexibility. With a fabric width of 140cm and a barely perceptible coating, it is ideal for many creative projects.
Water-repellent - tested according to ISO811:2014
The fabric was subjected to a water column test according to ISO811:2014 and achieved 2200mm water column. This means that it is water-repellent and provides reliable protection in light to moderate rain - ideal, for example, for jackets that need to withstand occasional rain. However, this fabric is not suitable for heavy rainfall, permanent wetness or use with high water pressure. The fabric also has no special UV resistance and should therefore not be used outdoors permanently without protection.
Application examples:
- Jackets and coatsthat protect against occasional rain
- bags, backpacks or bags with a water-repellent function
- tablecloths, especially for kitchens, studios or protected outdoor areas
- aprons, toiletry bags or utensils where a certain degree of moisture protection is desired
Care instructions:
The fabric is washable, ironable, dry cleanable, tumble dryable and not bleachable.
