Babylock Ovation is a combined overlocker and coverlock machine that features the ExtraordinAirTM threading system and the automatic thread feed system. With the launch of the baby lock Ovation, new standards have been set in the field of coverlock machines. Tedious tracking of threading points, free-hanging threads and the associated frustration are a thing of the past with the fully automatic air pressure threading system. Thanks to the convenient conversion from overlocker to coverstitch table, you have more time to try out the numerous stitch patterns and decorative seams.

Up to 8 threads can be used simultaneously to sewing beautiful decorative effects. Overlocker, cover or chain stitches can be combined as you wish. Thanks to the various thread guides, you can determine the threading sequence yourself. With the ExtraordinAir system, the thread is inserted into the desired hook channel. At the touch of a button, the air threads for you in no time at all.

With the automatic thread feed system (ATD system) and seam preselection, the Ovation also takes the worry out of adjusting thread tensions. Despite the different qualities of the sewing threads - from superfine to strong - you can achieve great results. The foot pressure can also be set and adjusted separately. The adjustable differential feed (0.6 - 2.0 :1) ensures optimum seam appearance.

Practical foot lifter

Another new feature of the baby lock Ovation is the front-mounted foot lifter. The foot of the baby lock Ovation can now be easily released from the front. This keeps your sewing project firmly in view and under control.

New foot pressure regulator

With the new foot pressure regulator on the baby lock Ovation, you can now individually adjust to the material types of the sewing fabrics. Whether fine, firm or heavy fabric - the presser foot pressure can be easily adjusted accordingly. With the help of the easy-to-read scale, you can recognize and set the required basic and presser foot pressure setting.

The simply ingenious ExtraordinAirTM threading system makes threading your Ovation child's play. From now on, you determine the threading sequence of the threads. No more annoying tracking of colored threading points, no more confusion due to free-hanging threads or starting over because you made a mistake. Simply select the desired looper thread, insert it into the threading opening, press the button and the thread is automatically threaded into the looper tip of the Ovation.

Wave stitch setting

Not only can the baby lock Ovation sewing simple overlocker and cover stitches, it also has the fascinating baby lock Wave stitch. Simply set the selector lever to Wave, thread the machine and the Ovation will conjure this up instead of a conventional overlock stitch. Setting options

The setting options for stitch width and stitch length are clearly arranged. For closed or tubular garments, you can switch the knife off quickly and easily using a switch and switch it on again when required. As a small support, the knife can be lowered so far that a small stop remains as a guide.

Differential feed

How often do you have problems with stretch fabrics that they pucker completely at the end of sewing or the seam is displaced? With the help of the differential feed, the Ovation ensures optimum fabric feed with stretch fabrics and thus prevents seam puckering or protruding seams. If desired, you can achieve imaginative pucker effects, stretch the seams or create a desired wavy seam.

Practical accessory compartment

No more searching for your Victory accessories. In the practical accessory compartment under the spool holder on the right, all important items are stowed away and ready to hand. Among other things, you will find:

Stitch length

Using an adjusting knob, you can not only change the stitch length, but also switch your Ovation to rolled hem. A stitch length between 0.75 mm and 4 mm is also available in the rolled hem area. Read the setting values on a simple scale.

Stitch width

Knife and chain finger move together. This changes the seam width and not just the cutting width as is usually the case. This prevents overcuts and undercuts. There is no need to adjust the amount of loop thread. The stitch becomes wider or narrower without tedious and time-consuming adjustment.
