What are the fabrics suitable for?
Our fabrics are particularly suitable for everyday wear such as T-shirts, hoodies, children's clothing and comfortable homewear. Lightweight woven fabrics are ideal for blouses, dresses and skirts, while French terry and sweatshirt fabrics are suitable for cozy jackets and pullovers. Sewing tips from the sewing expert
- It is best to sew jersey and French terry with stretchy stitches or overlocker; use jersey needles.
- When cutting, pay attention to the stitch direction and stretch direction, allow for a little extra width with stretch fabrics.
- Pre-wash briefly before sewing if you are unsure - this will reduce shrinkage or color changes later on.
- For fine woven fabrics, select interlining and a suitable needle size to achieve clean sewing.
